Last Thursday, thousands of music aficionados gathered during Kamikazee’s #HulingSayaw concert. Two days before the show, we sat down with the members of the band for an interview. They called it quits because they want to have a quality time with their respective families and also for Jay’s medical condition.

As the band embarked to another chapter of their lives, they decided to perform for the last time. Last September, their last bar gig was held at 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub, Kamikazee gave their best shot to entertain their fans for 4 hours of great music, along with their special guests Queso, Chicosci and Urbandub.

Fantastic stage set-up, the giant LED, the main stage which connects a ramp to the second stage and 18 songs performed by Kamikazee makes the concertgoers wrapped up Huling Sayaw concert. Kudos to Spicy Lemon for a spectacular concert!

Would you imagine that Kamikazee filled up 15,000 capacity of Smart Araneta Coliseum? Contreras said, “Totoo ba yan? Kaya pala natin.”, pertaining to the huge crowd inside the coliseum.

We were amazed on how they entertain the crowd. There’s one particular part of the concert wherein Kamikazee frontman Jay Contreras (KMKZ) chose two lucky girls and went onstage. From Chiksilog to Narda, everyone sang along with them. I got teary eyed in every song played during the night.
"...sa mga anak namin, mahal na mahal namin kayo, babawi na sila Daddy sa inyo."

15 years in the music industry, Kamikazee is one of the bands that we looked up to, one of the best (guys) in the music scene.
